Elena loaded the dishwasher up Saturday night and ran it. Suddenly, I heard from the bedroom Lemuel yelling, "Laney, what did you do?" I wasn't real sure what was going on, but then Aidan ran into my bedroom, shouting, "WE HAVE A LEAK! A GIGANTIC LEAK! COME QUICK MOM!" I thought to myself, what now? I heard Lemuel telling the kids they needed to clean up the mess and when I walked into the kitchen I found this:
Elena couldn't find the dishwasher detergent so thought the liquid dish soap would work just fine. Needless to say, my floors are super clean and it only took them 15 dish towels to clean up the mess!
They sure had a lot of fun cleaning it up!
Aidan thought it was so cool! He loved cheering the bubbles on as they continued to erupt from the dishwasher! Now my children know not to fill the dishwasher with liquid dish soap!

oh we have had that happen before. I'm sorry!!! But the kids always seem to find the fun in things ;)
How did I not hear about this? It is better that she learned this now then in college.... this may or may not have happened to me in my apt. Does this surprise you?
