Spring Break Happenings.......

I still can't believe that spring break is over and that it is the middle of April!  We spent the first part of the week doing typical household things that I needed to get done. We went to the park on Wednesday for a couple of hours. Then on Thursday we headed down to the LA Zoo along with some friends the Collins, and the Boths.
Here is everyone that came besides Cyndi (she is taking the photo). We had a great time despite the crowd. We were worried about getting stuck in traffic on the way home but since we left at 3:30, there wasn't any and we made good time heading home.
Brayden, Max, Aidan, Elena, Cambryn and Rocco
Some of the kiddos excited to start the day at the zoo.

Friday the kids played with their friends most of the day then we hit up Costco and Target for last minute Easter items. Then Saturday morning we left at 9:30 to head to LA again for a day at the temple. We arrived just after 11 and got the kids settled at the rec. room and then headed to do a session. It was a beautiful Saturday and a perfect day to be in the temple. We finished our session with uplifted spirits and headed to meet everyone for lunch. The ward had subs catered in and it was a great lunch. We changed our clothes and headed to Six Flags for a couple of hours.

We arrived at Six Flags/Magic Mountain around 4:30 to HEAPS of crowds. We knew it would be pretty crazy with both counties on spring break, but since the kids have been spoiled with no crowds every time we have been there, they didn't want to wait for 2 hours to ride one ride. So we spent the time in the kid section and they rode all the little rides as many times as they wanted. Aidan loved every minute of it and didn't want to leave. We headed home after a quick stop at In-N-Out for dinner and got home around 10. We had a great day and the kids loved it despite not being able to ride the big rides.
