Disneyland in October...

Yesterday I pulled the kids out of school early and we headed to Disneyland. The kids were really excited and couldn't wait to see all the Halloween decorations out and see the changes that Disney made on the rides, and I was anxious to see the new show Color of Wonder. We got there and I didn't anticipate it being as busy as it was! Come to find out they were doing their Halloween Party at Disneyland and so that park was closing at 7. We headed to California Adventure at 6:30 and it was packed, but the kids ran around and tried to do as many rides as they could. It was busy, but we still had a great time and our friends the Both's ended up heading there as well. Lemuel came and met us after finishing his day in San Pedro and then we headed home super late. Here are just a couple of pictures I took throughout the day.
I love this picture and all the fun pumpkin carvings were so adorable!

Waiting in line for the Haunted Mansion; they made it into a Christmas/Halloween ride where two holidays collide! It was fun, despite Aidan and Max getting a little scared! ;)
Elena really wanted to try and pull the sword out,
and of course the boys had to have their turn as well!
All in all it was a good day. I was pretty exhausted at the end, but we made it and we can't wait to go back on a day that is a little less crowded!

Sounds like a great day! Aren't you due super soon?? Glad you had the adventure before the little one arrives! Do you have season passes to the disney parks? How close do you live to them?
