HAPPY EASTER!

We had a great Easter Sunday. The kids saw their Easter baskets, we had a french toast breakfast and then sat down to talk about the resurrection and atonement. I think Elena really understood more about the Savior's last week this year than she did before  and she was really emotional. It was so genuine and heartfelt to hear her questions and comments. She is becoming so grown up and so compassionate. It was a beautiful way to start the day. The talks and the lessons shared at church were just what I needed and it was a wonderful reflection on the blessings that I have in my life.
We took pictures after church and of course couldn't get Aidan to stay put or to keep a straight face. So this is the best I could get.
What a poser!  He just wouldn't stay put and then when I finally got him to, he pulled this face!  Oh well. I'll take what I can get.
My beautiful Laney. So grown up!  I still can't get over that she is going to be 10 in 5 months!  She is growing up way to quickly.
I have such handsome boys!  Max is almost 8 and can't wait to be baptized next month!  He posed so nicely for this picture. Unfortunately, he wasn't happy that his tie didn't have a zipper on it. Go figure!
After our Easter dinner of shoyu chicken, rice, rolls, salad, and deviled eggs, we had a little egg hunt!  It was a lot of fun, however, nothing compares to egg hunts with family and friends!  It was a quiet Easter, but it was good to be together. We had a great weekend.
